We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 2024-2025 GLP Global Grant, sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Nueva Guatemala (D4250) and Windsor-Roseland, ON (D6400). Together, we can make a lasting impact for the communities we serve, turning dreams into reality and overcoming challenges with dedication and compassion.
With your support, we will provide Guatemalan youth with the tools they need to lift themselves and their communities out of poverty. The Global Grant focuses on four key programs:
1. Reading: Providing training for teachers in effective reading instruction and quality children’s literature to promote literacy.
2. Textbooks: Providing textbooks to middle schools and training teachers to use them effectively in the classroom.
3. Computers: Teaching students to use technology to solve real-world problems, empowering them for better job opportunities.
Together, these programs create opportunities for children to thrive and build a brighter future.
